Once Buried, Twice Shy

Welcome to the port town of Southwyck. Located at the confluence of tributaries feeding into the Gallows River. Its townsfolk are odd, a bit superstitious, but not unaccommodating—if the coin is right.

When the fishing boat, The Providence, pulls into port for emergency repairs, the players discover that the locals worship a pantheon of forgotten gods—gods of the river, gods of the silt, and of the muck. These are covetous, grasping, and mad gods.

They want to take what you have, and they’re willing to make a deal.
